Tradelossa has been invited to take part in a power generation project across the central part of Mexico.
This project involved the transfer of a generator, a high-pressure turbine and a low-pressure turbine, the trio of pieces arrived at one of the country’s 5 major trading ports, the port of Altamira, located at the state of Tamaulipas in northeast of the federation, sharing its borders with the Gulf of Mexico to the east, the industrial state of Nuevo Leon to the west and the United States to the north.
These equipment will be part of the combined cycle power plant located in “El Sauz”, within the state of Querétaro. The combined cycle power plant has five units capable of generating an energy average of 591 MW, equivalent to 1.5% of the Effective Installed Capacity of the CFE (Federal Electricity Commission), which mainly supplies energy to the states of Querétaro, Hidalgo and Guanajuato.
To carry out this project, Tradelossa made use of the flexibility provided by its fleet, transporting the generator in hydraulic configuration of nine axles, the high-pressure turbine in a Hydraulic configuration + Lowbed platform and the low-pressure turbine in a “6 axles + low deck + 6 axles”.
