With great pleasure we announce that this month, we finished the transportation of the wind cargo in “La Rumorosa” Baja California, México.
The project started in June of the current year, the inland moves were performed from Plaster City, California and the Port of Ensenada to the Site in Baja California.
In total about 450 inland moves were performed in order to transport the components of 47 wind turbines, which include: hubs, nacelles, blades, tower sections and drive trains.
The cargo had the following dims:
Blades: 54.9m long, 2.80m wide, 4m high; 14.5 Tons
Tower sections: 22.8m long, 4.3m wide, 3.9m tall; 70 Tons.
Hub: 5.5m long, 3.8m wide, 3.8m high; 34.5 Tons.
Drive Train: 5.5m long, 2.9m wide, 3.4m high; 62 Tons.
Nacelle: 12.7m long, 3.2m wide, 4.2m high; 70Tons.
