March has been a busy month thanks to the Manzanillo III project, a major investment in the energy industry for the state of Colima, which will supply electricity to thousands of Mexicans.
From the Mont of February 2024 to this date, Tradelossa has been heavily involved with the movement of 13 components, which all together mark over 600 tons in weight mobilized for the project so far.
All cargo departs directly from the port of Manzanillo, where they have been loaded on specialized platforms among them the principal vehicular configurations include the use of a 18 axle and a 12 axle + step deck configuration to continue their journey to their destination point located at the combined cycle power plant “Manzanillo III” within the same state.
The “CCP Manzanillo III” is a high-end project in the energy sector, as it will have a capacity of 357.41 megawatts, which will make it the second largest in Mexico in terms of capacity.
In addition to these 13 movements, it is estimated that at least 6 more boiler module movements were carried out, which represent more than 1000 tons more for the project, following the same route.
The dimensions of the most important movements are presented below:
– 2 identical boiler modules: 23.9 meters length, 5.2 meters width, 3 meters height and 136.16 tons in weight.
– 2 identical condensers: 12 meters length, 4.6 meters width, 3.7 meters height and 53.69 tons in weight.
– Dirveter Damper: 9 meters length, 5.2 meters width, 4.9 meters height and 32 tons in weight.
