Although the year is almost over, Tradelossa continues its efforts in the different projects for the end of the year, this time we share with you the Roll-On maneuvers carried out to the port of Altamira, Tamaulipas.
Starting with the arrival of a 240-ton transformer, measuring 9 meters long, 4 meters wide and 4. 4 meters high.
Departing from Monterrey city in Nuevo León to the port of Altamira, Tamaulipas.
From the moment the component arrived at the port, our team immediately assembled our Gantry system for heavy maneuvers.
Once the assembly was done, we unload from the platform, reloading the transformer to a vehicle configuration more suitable for the task at hand.
With the arrival of the barge to port, the reassembly of the Gantry system on the barge began, taking the transformer to the barge and unloading it making use of the Gantry system.
Maneuvers like these are considered high risk due to the hard work and much planning prior to each movement of the component once it’s over the barge.
We thank all the staff involved in the project for their high level of coordination and expertise at all times.
