We have successfully finished the final delivery of all components for Norte III Project in Mexico.
During the last three months, we worked on the Norte III Project, located in Samalayuca, Chihuahua.
We made the transportation, port handling, lifting operations and storage for the different components, which they are extremely important for this Combine Cycle Power Plant, they will help supply enough electricity to meet the annual demands of more than 500,000 homes in 2019.
We start with the port reception and transportation of four gas generators with dimensions of 9.44 meters length, 3.70 meters de width, and 4.26 meters height; weighing 266 tons each. Following with four gas turbines, with dimensions of 8.91 meters length, 4.03 meters de width, and 4.34 meters height; weighing 179 tons each.
Finally, we conclude with the MSD´s storage and transportation.
During this time, we were able to travel from 4 different origins, including the US, the Port of Altamira, and 2 locations within Mexico, with one destination, Samalayuca, Chihuahua.
The oversized and heavy haul transportations were done in platforms and SPMT Hydraulic modules.
Everything went according to the plan, thanks to the staff effort!
