Tradelossa has completed the transport of a 110 ton Storage Tank!
Leaving from the port of Manzanillo, Colima, the component was loaded and transported in our units to our clients’ facilities in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.
During the journey, our team had to face different challenges, one of the most remarkable ones was inside the state of Michoacan where Tradelossa had to pass the component under a pedestrian bridge located on the outskirts of the urban area of the region.
After concluding that the bridge did not meet the necessary height, our rigging team jumped into action. Their objective? To safely disassemble the bridge and raise it as high as necessary to safely cross the bridge.
Using our Gantry gear, we lifted the bridge section weighing a total of 30 tons over 5 meters above the ground, allowing the component to be successfully moved through without any risk.
Dimensions:
34.3 meters long, 4.3 meters wide, 4.4 meters high, and a weight of 110 tons.
It was thanks to the extensive experience and versatility of our transportation and rigging team that the challenge faced was successfully handled in record time, allowing us to meet the delivery schedules required by our customers prior to the project, achieving all high safety and quality standards demanded by the Tradelossa team.
