We have finished with the transportation of all the components for the Combined Cycle Power Plant in El Carmen, Nuevo León.
Tradelossa has performed the transportation of two sets of generators and gas turbines, as well as the assembly of a generator and a steam turbine, making use of the 500-ton gantry and Strand Jack lifting system.
The project last 21 weeks, Tradelossa maintain a safety and secure lifting operation in a foundation of 13 meters high with a constant coordination with Tradelossa’s client.
The dimensions of all the components were as follows.
Gas generators:11.52 meters long, 4.10 meters wide, 4.32 meters high and a weight of 289 tons.
Gas turbines:11.85 meters long, 5 meters wide, 4.90 meters high and a weight of 294 tons.
Steam generator:12.7 meters long, 4.8 meters wide, 4.6 meters high, weighing 288 tons.
Steam Turbine:8.4 meters long, 3.7 meters wide, 4.5 meters high, weighing 160 tons.
