On April 18th, the Job of the year Award Competition was held by the SC&RA; (Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association). This year, Tradelossa decided to compete in the most challenging category, “Moving Job of the Year” which includes projects of top leading companies from around the world. This category presents projects that used self-propelled equipment, dollies and crawler assemblies.
With great excitement and pride we share that Tradelossa was honored with the award granted by the SC&RA; for this category. Tradelossa became the first Latin American company to receive this award for the “Moving Job of the Year”. For this event, we participated with the transportation project of the largest cargo we’ve moved until now; the C2 Splitter reactor that belonged to Etileno XXI Project.
This move was completed one year ago in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, México. The 880 metric Ton reactor had a 102m length and 9.75m diameter. It travelled 12 kms in total (7.5 miles) facing 6 major obstacles along the way. The transportation of the piece took 18 days in which changes were made to the vehicle configuration.
This award is for all Tradelossa Staff, whose effort, sacrifice and loyalty makes this team, a GREAT team and has helped making our dreams to become a reality.
Finally, we thank our customers who daily give us their trust to successfully complete their projects.
Thank you and congratulations to all!
